New Iberia–A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted for Jill B. Reid, age 60, on Friday, April 5, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Nativity of Our Lady Catholic Church. with Fr. Ed Degeyter as Celebrant.

Visitation will be held on Friday; April 5, 2024, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at 10:00 a.m.

Jill Bourque Reid, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and cherished member of the community, passed away peacefully at her residence in New Roads, Louisiana, on March 29, 2024, at the age of 60. Born on September 6, 1963, to Winclise and Agnes Gaspard Bourque in New Iberia, Jill leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth that touched the lives of all who knew her.

Throughout her 22 years of marriage to Ronnie, Jill found immense joy in exploring the world together, forging unforgettable memories in numerous destinations. Her devotion to her family knew no bounds, and her love for her children and grandchildren was boundless. Jill's creative spirit shone brightly through her passion for holiday decorating and crafting, where her talents as an artist flourished. Her compassionate nature extended even to the smallest of creatures, exemplified by the special bond she shared with her beloved rescued dog, Bingo. Jill will be deeply missed but forever remembered for her kindness, creativity, and the love she brought into the lives of those around her.

Jill is survived by her husband of 22 years, Ronnie Reid; daughter, Tiffany Moore (Hugh); her mother, Agnes Gaspard Bourque; grandchildren, Macy, and Matt; siblings, Judy Gromer (Don), Mark Bourque, Barry Bourque, and her little rescue puppy, “Bingo.”

She was preceded in death by her parents, Winclise Bourque.

Honored to serve as Pallbearer is her husband, Ronnie Reid.
