Jeanne Touchet Oliver

Erath – A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Jeanne T. Oliver, 94, will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, July 21, 2023 at David Funeral Home with Deacon Tim Marcantel Offciating. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Erath on Friday, July 21, 2023 from 9:00AM until the time of services with a recitation of the rosary at 10:00AM.

A native and a resident of Erath, Mrs. Jeanne passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2023. She was a hard worker and always took good care of her home. She was known for her delicious pot roast and her chilis.

She is survived by two daughters, Josie Vollmer and her husband Jesse of Abbeville and Sandra Boudreaux and her husband Warren of Lafayette; six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Alice Comeaux.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Cledus Touchet and Alice Simon; five sisters, Nona Romero, Laura Bell Loignon, Adley Bodin, Lou Bella Cormier and Ella Mae Dellahousaye; and four brothers, Roy Touchet, Harry Touchet, Harris Touchet and Cledus “CJ” Touchet.
