LAFAYETTE-Funeral Services for Jeanette Poirier Broussard,76, will be at 1:00PM Friday August 13, 2021, in David Funeral Home of Lafayette. Interment will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park.

Visitation will be in David Funeral Home of Lafayette Thursday August 12, 2021 from 3:00PM until 9:00PM and will resume Friday from 8:00AM until service time.

Jeanette passed away Sunday August 8, 2021 in her home surrounded by her family. She was employed in various retail positions then she was a homemaker for over forty years. She was very religious and her relationship with God was very important to her. She enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by her son, Bryan P. Broussard, her daughter, Radona Castille, grandson, Hunter Broussard and wife Tori, step grandson, Gavin Legere and wife Amber, her siblings, Juanita Menard and husband Allen, Lorraine Lyman and husband Charlie, Steven Poirier, Gerry Melvin and husband Joe, Michael Poirier , Francis Poirier Jr. and wife Yvonne, and Tammy Poirier.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Jackie Broussard, her parents, Francis and Gladys Poirier, and a brother, Rudy Poirier.
