Lafayette- Funeral Services for Mr. James “Bo” Duck, 58, will be held at David Funeral Home on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at 2:00PM with Brother Moak officiating with cremation to follow.
Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette from 9:00AM until time of services.
A longtime resident of Youngsville, Mr. James “Bo” Duck was born on September 9 th , 1964 in Urania, La. He passed away at his residence while surrounded by family on Tuesday, January 24, 2023. Mr. Bo was a lover of Peterbilt and Jimmy Buffett. Trucking was his life. He worked at Dean Blanchard Seafood and enjoyed every moment. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Donna Moore Duck of Youngsville; his three children, Tyree Duck, Brett Duck (Taylor), and Sarah Duck Romero (Chance); his parents, John and Aline Duck; his sister, Terri Coleman (GL); his grandchildren, Brennan and Briggs; and numerous cousins and relatives who are left to treasure his memory.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John and Bernice Duck; his maternal grandparents, Joe and Mildred Deville, Betty Franks, and Jewell Carter; his two children who passed away prior to birth; and his grandchild, Baby Romero.
Serving as pallbearers will be Tyree Duck, Brett Duck, Chance Romero, Shane Boullion, Freddie Bonvillain, and Ryan Pitre.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Dean Blanchard, Scott Champagne, Shawn Lecoq, and Zack Dar Dar.
The Duck family will like to offer special thanks to Bridgeway Healthcare and Hospice.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Duck family for funeral arrangements.
