James Randall Cochran

Lafayette – Funeral Services for James “Randy” Cochran, 59, will be held at 2:00PM on Friday, June 02, 2023 at David Funeral Home of Lafayette with Pastor Linton Broussard officiating. Burial will be held at Wolf Ridge Cemetery in Mobile, Alabama on Sunday, June 04, 2023 at 10:00AM.

Visitation will be begin Friday, June 02, 2023 at 9:00AM until the time of Service.

Randy grew up in Mobile, Alabama and spent the past 30 years in Louisiana. He married Rodlyn Musemeche Cochran and started a family. Most of his life was spent working in the automotive industry as a General Sales Manager. He was a loving and devoted father who could fix anything and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He loved the Lord and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. His favorite hobbies were fishing, playing guitar, golf, NASCAR, loving on English Bulldogs, fixing lawn equipment and most of all Roll Tide Alabama football.

He is survived by his wife, Rodlyn Musemeche Cochran of Youngsville; two daughters, Jenna Regan and her husband Jared of Abbeville, and Jewel Cochran of Youngsville; a son, Andre Ashley; seven grandchildren, Payton Burch, Connor Burch, Jared Regan II, Rylan Regan, Carleigh Duos and her husband John, Britton Ashley and Brooke Cantley; two great-grandchilden, Emmett Duos and Crew Duos; two brothers, Donald G Cochran, Jr. and his wife Deborah, and Rodney Cochran and his wife Julie; a brother-in-law, Roger R. Musemeche and his wife Jennifer; seven nephews, Donald G. Cochran III and his wife Sara, Jonathan Cochran, Kane Cochran, Owen Roark, Roger J. Musemeche, Jonathan Musemeche and his wife Katie and Joshua Musemeche; a niece, Hope Cochran; a great-nephew, Christopher Cochran; a great-niece, Olivia Musemeche; and a mother-in-law, Linda Atchetee Musemeche.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Donald Gayle Cochran, Sr. and Wilma Jean Chambers; a father-in-law, Roger M. Musemeche; his paternal grandparents, Jesse Cochran and Queen Stewart Cochran; and his maternal grandparents, Colbert and Sally Chambers.
