Abbeville- A Celebration of Life for Jada LaCroix Stutes, 53, will be held at 1:00PM on Sunday, March 30, 2025 at Frioux Funeral Chapel of Abbeville with Kathy Ingles officiating. A private inurnment will be held at a later date.

Visitation will be held at Frioux-David Funeral Home of Abbeville on Sunday, March 30, 2025 beginning at 10:00AM until the time of the services.

Jada LaCroix Stutes, born on September 13, 1971, in Winnfield, Louisiana, passed away on March 26, 2025, in New Orleans, Louisiana. Jada was a vibrant and outgoing individual whose presence illuminated the lives of those around her. Known for her warm spirit and cheerful disposition, she embraced life with enthusiasm and generosity, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she met.

Jada was a devoted wife to Nikki Stutes, with whom she shared 15 loving years.  She is survived by her mother, Betty Collins; her children, which included her son, Mason Bedgood of Lake Charles, and her two daughters, Onyx Johnson of Abbeville and Randie Morse and her wife, Dekoda of Winnfield, LA.

Jada's greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren. She found immense happiness in cooking for them, planning parties, and creating memories that would last a lifetime. Her nine grandchildren—Hurmiley Johnson, Jamison Johnson, Leelan Johnson, Savayah Bedgood, Storm Williams, Dynnic LeMarie, Xaelux Williams, Phoenix Morse, and Bronwynn Morse—were the light of her life and her legacy will live on through them.

Her joyful spirit and love for her family will be forever remembered as we celebrate her life and the many cherished moments she created.
