Jacquelyn Broussard Albert

LAFAYETTE - A Mass of Christian Burial for Jacquelyn Broussard Albert,76, will be at 1:00PM Monday, January 18, 2021 at St Joseph Catholic Church in Milton with Father William Schambough and Deacon Cody Miller officiating. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Visitation will be in David Funeral Home of Lafayette Sunday January 17, 2021 from 2:00PM until 9:00PM with recitation of the rosary at 6:30PM and will resume Monday from 8:00AM until service time.

Jacquelyn passed away Friday, January 15, 2021 in her residence with her family at her side. She enjoyed being outside tending to her garden. She also enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Ernest J. Albert of Milton, sons, Tim Albert and wife Dawn of Maurice, Anthony S. Albert and wife Cathy of Milton, Charlie E. Albert and wife Tracey of Milton, and Stacey J. Albert  and wife Chrissie of Youngsville, her daughter, Roxanne Trahan and husband David of Milton, 2 brothers, Paul Broussard and wife Joyce of Milton and Glenn Joe Broussard of VA, Grandchildren, Brandon, Julia, Brennen, Alex, Jacquelyn “Lizzie”, Devon, Hanna, Hunter, Harleigh, Quintin, Nathan, Tyler, Chelsea, Payton, and Cole, great grandchildren, Gabe, Graclyn and Ben.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Simeon Jr. and Nola Broussard and a brother George Broussard.

The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Share Care USA especially Runite Alex for her exceptional care of Jacquelyn.
