Inaam Alawwad

Lafayette- A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Inaam Alawwad, 74, will be held at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at 1:00PM with Fr. Michael Delcambre officiating.

Visitation will be held a Frioux-David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 from 10:00AM until time of services.

A resident of Broussard, Mrs. Inaam passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2025. Mrs. Inaam was born and raised in Husun, Jordan, where she was a devoted member of the Catholic Daughters. She carried her faith deeply in her heart, and her belief in the power of love, kindness, and community inspired all who knew her. She was very happy woman and always wore a smile on her face. She enjoyed singing and taking care of her family.  Mrs. Inaam was a dedicated mother and grandmother. She loved her family with all her heart, especially her daughters and grandchildren. Though she is no longer with us, her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.

She is survived by her sons, Gheith Sammour and his wife Tagreed, and Laoi Sammour; her daughters, Nsreen Sammour, Lena Sammour, Lona Sammour, and Sheren Sammour; her grandchildren, Kamal Alsammour, Essa Alsammour, Suliman Alsammour, Jamil Alsammour, Maya Alsammour, Tuleen Alsammour, and ten others; her two great grandchildren; her brothers, Essa Alawwad, Mousa Alawwad, Ibrahin Alawwad, and Gazi Alawwad; and her sisters, Samer Alawwad, Mary Alawwad, and Huda Alawwad.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jaml Salim; her parents, Alawwad and Saeteh Alawwad; and her sister, Namat Alawwad.
