Hunter Michael Degueyter

Youngsville – Funeral Services for Hunter Michael Degueyter, 23, will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, May 17, 2021 at David Funeral Home Chapel of Lafayette with Pastor Jeff Ables officiating.  Interment will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Sunday, May 16, 2021 beginning at 2:00PM until 9:00PM.  Visitation will resume on Monday, May 17, 2021 from 8:00AM until the time of the services.

A native Collins, MS and a resident of Youngsville, Hunter died at 1:10AM on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at his residence.  He enjoyed online gaming with friends, dining out at local restaurants and attending concerts. Hunter was a kind hearted young man who always treated people with kindness, especially while employed at Rouses in Youngsville. Regardless of the duty he fulfilled during his 5 years of employment he always greeted people with a big smile and joyful attitude.

He is survived by his parents, Brian Degueyter and Tammy Hayes Lee of Youngsville; a brother, A.J. Alwosaibi; a sister, Briana Degueyter; his paternal grandparents, Lloyd, and Myrtis Matte Degueyter of Youngsville; maternal grandparents, John, and Vicki Hayes of McGee, MS; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Serving as pallbearers will be members of his family and friends.
