Hilda Romero Menard

Youngsville- A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Hilda Romero Menard, 93, will be held at 1:00PM on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at St. Anne Catholic Church with Father Michael Russo officiating. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Thursday, December 29, 2022, from 9:00AM until the time of services with a recitation of the rosary at 11:00AM. A native and resident of Youngsville, Mrs. Menard passed away at her residence on Sunday, December 25,2022 surrounded by her family. Mrs. Hilda loved fishing, sewing, cooking, and gardening. Mrs. Menard was a member of the Ladies Alter Society. She is survived by two sons; Kenneth Menard and his wife, Marla of Youngsville and Michael Menard and his wife Marie of Youngsville; five grandchildren; Cammie, Tracy, Jason, Christopher, and Benjamin; and five great-grandchildren; Javin, Vann, Romy, Abigail, and Annalise. She was preceded in death by her husband; Floyd Menard; her parents; Edie and Lucia Romero; and two sisters; Mildred Guilbeau and Mabel Mier.
