Gloria "Glo" Jean Baudoin

Lafayette- Memorial Services for Ms. Gloria “Glo” Jean Baudoin, 72, will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Wednesday, December 28, 2022. Burial will be held at a later date.

Visitation will be will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette from 4:00PM until 9:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM.

A resident of Youngsville, Ms. Gloria passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 surrounded by family.  She worked at Frank’s Casing for over 20 years. During her younger years, she enjoyed sports. As the years progressed, she took a liking to volleyball, softball and shooting pool.

She is survived by her son, Jason Goulas and his wife Jackie of Carencro; her daughter, Lori Short and her husband James of Lafayette; her sister, Sandra Baudoin Hayes of Broussard; her brother Michael Baudoin and his wife Tammy of St. Martinville; her grandchildren, Jacob Goulas, Brent Short, Trey Short, and William Short; seven great-grandchildren; her nieces, Denise Trotti, and Nicole Doiron; and her nephews, Eric Hayes, and Brian Hayes.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ladislas Joseph Baudoin and Elgene Savoy.

The Baudoin Family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff members of the Carpenter House and Mrs. Glenn for the exceptional care they gave Ms. Gloria in her time of need.
