Glaston Paul Choate

Abbeville – Funeral Services for Glaston Paul Choate, 83, will be held at 1:30PM on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at David Funeral Home of Abbeville with Deacon Tim Marcantel officiating. Interment will follow at Baudoin Cemetery in Milton.

Visitation will be held beginning at 9:00AM on Thursday, May 23, 2024 until the time of service with a recitation of the rosary at 11:00AM.

Glaston owned and operated a successful business as a diesel mechanic and tractor sales for 35 years. He loved fishing and was known for being a fun loving man who liked to joke around a lot.

He is survived by his wife of 64 Years, Mabel Schexnaider Choate; a nephew, Rodney Choate and his wife Diane; and a great nephew, Ryan Choate.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Sylvester and Ernestine Choate; three sisters, Rose Choate, Joyce Romero and Dorothy Dumitrait; and five brothers, Raymond Hebert, Charles Hebert, Murphy Gaspard, Reno Gaspard, and Wilford Gaspard.

Serving as pallbearers will be Glenn Menard, Rodney Choate, Ryan Choate, Randy Schexnaider, Kelvin Schexnaider and Timmy Schexnaider.
