Gerald Gesser

New Iberia- A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Gerald C. Gesser, 82, will be held at St. Peter Catholic Church on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at 11:00AM with Rev. William C. Blanda, V.F. officiating. Burial to follow at Holy Family Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Frioux-David Funeral Home of New Iberia on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 from 4:00PM until 8:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 6:00PM.

Visitation will resume on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at St. Peter Catholic Church from 9:00AM until time of services.

Mr. Gerald passed away on Monday, April 14, 2025.

He is survived by his daughters, Kimberly G. LeBreton and her husband Guy of Cade, and Elizabeth Dorsey and her husband Dustin of Lafayette; his grandchildren, Hunter J. LeBreton and his wife Caroline, Madeline E. LeBreton, Evan C. LeBreton, and Chase M. Dorsey; his great-grandchild, Liam J. LeBreton; his brothers, Herman J. Gesser, Jr., Edgar A. Gesser. Sr., and Byron J. Gesser. Sr.; and the mother of his children, Charlotte P. Gesser.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Herman J. Gesser, Sr. and Stillman Folse Gesser.
