Gaynell Luquette Leblanc

Erath- A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Gaynell LeBlanc, 69, will be held at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at 11:00AM with Fr. Barry Crochet officiating. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Mausoleum.

Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Erath on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 from 4:00PM until 9:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 6:00PM. Visitation will resume on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 from 8:00AM until time of services.

A resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Gaynell passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2022. She was a simple woman who enjoyed the company of others while sitting on her carport with her cup of coffee and visiting with her family and friends. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Henry LeBlanc of New Iberia; her daughter, Jolene LeBlanc Segura and her husband Robert Segura, Jr. of New Iberia; her sons, Eric LeBlanc and his fiancé Amy Citrano of New Iberia, and Joshua LeBlanc of Erath; her daughter, Amy LeBlanc Olivier and her husband Eugene Olivier, Jr. of New Iberia; and her grandchildren, Avery LeBlanc, Benjamin LeBlanc, Johnathan Segura, Collin LeBlanc, Ainsley Olivier, Dom and Max Citrano; and brother, Ricky Luquette and his fiance Carolyn Shepard.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Floyd Luquette and Rena Champagne Luquette; and her sister, Linda Goutierrez.

Serving as pallbearers will be Kyle Luquette, Cotty Champagne, Scott LeBlanc, Avery LeBlanc, Blaise Verret, and Zachary Chauvin.

The LeBlanc family would like to offer a special thank you to the Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital nurses of the fifth floor and Dr. Ardoin.
