Gaye Nell Hinson-Stephens

New Iberia – Memorial Services will be conducted for Gaye Nell Hinson Stephens, 74, on Friday, January 5, 2024, at 11:00 AM in the David Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Stephanie Leleux officiating.

A gathering of the family and friends will be on Friday, January 5, 2024, in the chapel from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM.

Ms. Stephens passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2023, at 9:54 PM in a local nursing home.

She is survived by her sister, Madeline Simmon of Beaumont, TX; her friend, Debra A. Savoie of New Iberia; her godchild, Luke Perez of Lydia; her nephew, Buddy Simmon of Houston, TX; her fur baby, Lil’ Girl of New Iberia; her best friend, Danette Guillotte of New Iberia and Adopted Families of Savoie’s and Perez’s.

Serving as pallbearer will be her godchild, Luke Perez.
