Eugene Fontenot, Jr.

New Iberia – Memorial Services for Eugene Fontenot, Jr. 58 will be conducted on Thursday, June 27, 2019, at 11:00 AM in the David Funeral Home Chapel with Fr. Barry Crochet officiating.

A gathering of family and friends will be on Thursday, June 27, 2019, from 10:00 AM until the time of services.

A native of Jeanerette and resident of New Iberia, Mr. Fontenot passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2019, at 6:15 AM at his residence.

He was a control Room Operator for Sable Premian resources. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a Great Loving Husband, Father and Grandfather.

He is survived by his wife, Patrice Armentor Fontenot of New Iberia; daughter, Monique Romero of New Iberia; son, Matthew Fontenot and his companion Chrystal Dore of Loreauville; grandchildren, Gage Romero, Kinly Romero and Landen Fontenot; his sister-in-law, Melanie Blanchard and her husband Greg; brother-in-law, Richard Armentor and his wife Connie all of New Iberia and brother-in-law, Lynn Foco of Jeanerette.

He was preceded in death by is parents, Eugene Fontenot, Sr. and Louann Merceron Fontenot; his sister, Myra Foco and his son-in-law, Doug Romero.
