Eric Neal Hollier

Erath - A memorial service will be held to honor the life of Eric Hollier, 52, of Erath who passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2023. The gathering of family and friends will be held at David’s Funeral Home in Erath, Louisiana on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, from 10:00am – 1:00pm.

Eric was born July 29, 1970, in Erath, Louisiana. He was the son of Nelson and Therese (Bourque) Hollier. He graduated from Erath High School. Eric loved to serve the public by being a police officer his whole career. His favorite pastime was routing for the New Orleans Saints. Eric was a loving husband and father.

Eric is survived by his wife, Ping, his son, Brees, his father, Nelson Hollier, his brother, Ricky Hollier (Cheryl), and his sister, Sandra Hale (Ray).

He was preceded in death by his mother, Therese Bourque Hollier.

The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude and appreciation to the doctors and nurses of Our Lady of Lourdes Heart Hospital for the care Eric was given.
