Edward Ambrose Daly

Lafayette – Funeral services for Edward A. Daly 69, will be held Thursday March 25, 2021 at 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Broussard, with Father Michael Delcambre officiating.

Visitation will be held Wednesday March 24, 2021 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a Rosary recited at 6:00 PM, and will continue Thursday from 8:00 AM until time of services. Burial will be held in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Silver Spring MD.

Edward was a native of Washington DC and a resident of Lafayette, he was a graduate of St. Michael special school in New Orleans, he was member of the Knights of Columbus council 7557, and Knights of Columbus 4 ^th Degree Assembly 3362. Edward retired from Dillard’s after 35 years of service.

Survivors include his brother Patrick Daly of Lafayette, his sisters Sister Teresa Daly of New Orleans and Cecilia Erwin of Monterey TN.

Edward was preceded in death by his parents Edward F. Daly and Margaret Harrison Daly.

Serving as pallbearers will be Sean Daly, Micah Williams, Andy Slovacek, Ray Gary, Greg Geary, and Glen Ray.
