Donna Romero Scott

New Iberia– Funeral services will be conducted for Donna Romero Scott, 66, at Frioux-David Funeral Home Chapel, at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 24, 2025, with Pastor Haydn Fabre Officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Family Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2025, beginning at 10:00 a.m. with a rosary being prayed at 1:00 p.m. with service to follow at 1:30 p.m.

Donna was an attentive listener with a sympathetic ear. Her conversations were cherished for her ability to be kind and calm but also to deliver wisdom and laughter. Her creative nature was also impressive. She enjoyed many different crafts, sewing, and all types of puzzles. Her lighthearted and trustworthy spirit made her a blessing to be around. She will be sadly missed by her mother, brother, sister, daughter, son-in-law, her two grandchildren and countless family members and friends. She will be remembered as a worthy and beautiful woman who is now shining in Heaven with her son.

Donna is survived by daughter Daina Scott Romero and husband Cambre Romero of Broussard; her mother, Lorraine Romero; siblings, Curt Romero, II of New Iberia, and Lana Romero of New Iberia; grandchildren, Oliver Romero, Isla Romero, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, Troy Scott, and her father, Curtis Romero.

Honored to serve as Pallbearers are Cambre Romero, Oliver Romero, Curt Romero III, Joshua Louviere, Sky Louviere, and Curt Romero, II.
