Diana Duplechin Thibodeaux

Lafayette - Funeral Services for Mrs. Diana Duplechin Thibodeaux, 65, will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette, Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 1:00PM with Brother Langley officiating. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Saturday, April 10, 2021 from 9:00AM until time of services.

A native of Breaux Bridge, Mrs. Diana passed away Monday, April 5, 2021. She recently retired from Del Corporation. She enjoyed spending her time crocheting and sewing but ultimately loved drinking Coca- Cola and collecting Coca-Cola products.

She is survived by her husband, Randel Thibodeaux, Sr. of Breaux Bridge; her daughter, Hope Menard and her husband Shane of Broussard; her sons, Lance Thibodeaux and his wife Tammy of Breaux Bridge, and Lucas Thibodeaux and his fiancée Sarah Fontenot of Carencro; her step-sons, Randel Thibodeaux, Jr. and his wife Ericka of Lafayette, and Christopher Thibodeaux and his fiancée Carrie North of The Woodlands, TX.; her brother, Kenneth Duplechin and his wife Donna of Youngsville; her sisters, Sherry Lormand and her husband Randy of Sunset, and Rachel Ramsey of Scott; and her nine grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Wilbert Duplechin and Ellarine Stelly Duplechin.

Serving as pallbearers will be Lance Thibodeaux, Lucas Thibodeaux, Shane Menard, Cole Menard, Lane Duplechin, and Randel Thibodeaux, Jr.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Christopher Thibodeaux, Noah Thibodeaux, and Randy Lormand.

The Thibodeaux family would like to send a heartfelt thank you to the kind doctors and nursing staff of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.

In order to help keep the community safe we will honor the July 13, 2020 Louisiana Mandates.  All families and their guest are required to wear a face covering while at the funeral home. Thank you for your understanding during this unprecedented time.
