Dennis Wayne Herrmann

Youngsville – A Private Memorial Service will be held at a later date for Mr. Dennis Wayne Herrmann, 74, who died at 10:28 PM on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at The Calcutta House. Dennis graduated high school at Hempstead High School in Hempstead, Texas, and joined The United States Navy for 5 years. After an Honorable Discharge, he began working for Drilco while attending Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas where he obtained a Marketing Degree. Then he started his career in the oil field industry. He worked for Royal, Continuous Tubing Services, Coiled Tubing Services, and Schlumberger which he retired from after 30 years of service and obtaining several awards. He then went on to work as a consultant as a Marketing Director for Coiled Tubing Partners and retired in 2015. Dennis’ greatest pleasure was taking care of his family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Bernadine Lafleur Herrmann of Youngsville; a daughter, Vickie L. Barrilleaux; three grandchildren, Daniel Barrilleaux, Etienne Devin Barrilleaux, and Corey Jonathan Barrilleaux; and a niece, Crystal Deaver. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Rosalie Grabarschik Herrmann; a son-in-law, Brian A. Barrilleaux; and a brother, David Allen Herrmann.
