Debbie Touchet Hyde

Youngsville – A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Debbie Touchet Hyde, 70, will be held at 2:00PM on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church with Deacon Keith Duhon officiating.  Interment will follow at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Mausoleum.

Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 beginning at 10:00AM until the time of the services with a recitation of the rosary at 11:30AM.

A native of New Iberia and a resident of Youngsville, Mrs. Hyde died at 7:14PM on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at Ochsner of Lafayette.  She was known for her love to shop and travel, especially going on cruises.

She is survived by her mother, Mabel Gary Touchet; a son, Brock E. Hyde of Coteau ; a daughter, Tiffany Nicole Hyde of Coteau; two sisters, Amelie Gresham and Wanda Latiolais her husband Mike; and five grandchildren, Blaise Dugas, Caine Hyde, Cruz Hyde, Piper Hyde and Ashley Hyde.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Hyde; her father, Eluse “King” Touchet;

a brother in law, Ron Gresham; and her mother in law, Genieve Kelly.

Serving as pallbearers will be Blaise Dugas, Caine Hyde, Chad, Gresham, Brock Hyde, Bryan Dupuy, and Blake Latiolais
