Daniel Thomas Breaux

Lafayette - Mr. Daniel T. Breaux, a native and resident of Lafayette, passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2024, at his home at Rosewood Assisted Living.

Daniel was an amazing husband and father. He may have been a man of few words but when he spoke, he offered compassion and guidance with an easygoing demeanor. He will be remembered for these values. Daniel was fearless and loved to experience the world around him; he was a proud member of the Army National Guard and U.S. Parachute Association. He had a passion for the sky including planes, jets, drones, and skydiving. He understood that the only way to truly understand the sky is to jump into it.

He is survived by his wife, Suzanne B. Breaux of Lafayette; daughter, Ashlyn M. Jennings and her husband, David of Nashville, Tennessee; grandsons, Grayson Daniel-Thomas and Hayes Bennett-Thomas Jennings; sister, Jacqueline "Jackie" M. Landry and her husband Roy of Youngsville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Velma M. Breaux and Thomas A. Breaux, residents of Youngsville.

The family would like to thank Heart of Hospice, Rosewood Assisted Living, and Right at Home for the excellent care provided.
