Daisy Alexis Magnon Meaux

Abbeville – Funeral Services for Mrs. Daisy Alexis Magnon Meaux, 74, will be held at 7:00PM on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at David Funeral Chapel of Abbeville with Pastor Ryan Johnson officiating.  A private interment will be held at a later day.

A gathering of friends and family will be held at David Funeral Home of Abbeville, on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, beginning at 3:00 PM until time of services.

A native of Shreveport and a resident of Abbeville, Mrs. Meaux died at 2:02PM on Friday, June 21, 2024, at Ochsner of Lafayette.  Mrs. Alexis enjoyed raising birds, working with her plants, and especially enjoyed decorating for Christmas.  Mrs. Alexis met and influenced countless people while working at Abdallas in New Iberia, Bobby and Dot’s Catering, and the Kaplan Skating Rink.

She is survived by her husband of 15 years, Robert Ray Meaux of Abbeville; a daughter, Tonya White Suire and her husband Troy of Abbeville; two stepdaughters, Felicia Ralph and Dr. Rachelle Meaux; a brother, Maxie Magnon; two sisters, Dean Magnon and Janetta Magnon; five grandchildren, Tekoa Schexnider, Sage Schexnider, Canaan Schexnider, Jonah White, and Noah White; three step grandchildren, Spencer Montgomery, Garrett Montgomery, and Noah Ralph; and five great grandchildren, Emilee Schexnider, Lux Schexnider, Linc Schexnider, Wren White, and one on the way Emsley Schexnider.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alexander and Daisy Schexnayder Magnon; a brother, Jack Magnon; and a sister, Jonie Magnon.
