Daisy Mae Autin Dupuy

Lafayette – Funeral services for Daisy Mae Autin Dupuy, 78, will be held Monday, February 1, 2021 at 1:00 PM at David’s Funeral Home, with Pastor Dominick DiCarlo, Pastor of Aimwell Baptist Church in Central LA officiating.

Visitation will be held Sunday, January 31, 2021 from 11:00 AM until 9:00 PM and will resume Monday from 8:00 AM until time of services. Burial will follow in St. Anne Catholic Cemetery in Youngsville.

Daisy was a native of Stephensville, La.  and a resident of Youngsville, La.  She passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all. She will always be remembered for her love of family and her willingness to help others.

Daisy is survived by her children Susanna Dupuy, Lisa Hebert (husband A.J.  Hebert Jr), Cindy Aucoin (husband Lynwood Aucoin Sr.), Elizabeth Dupuy (Christopher Gates), Patty Arredondo (husband Anthony Arredondo), Louis Dupuy (wife Jennifer Dupuy), Earline Dupuy (Bryant Bordelon),  Elaine Dupuy Martin (Brandon Soprano) and a bonus daughter Nicole Payne. She is also survived by twenty- seven grandchildren, forty- two great- grandchildren, and four great- great- grandchildren: her siblings Bonnie Glynn, Ann LeBlanc, Linda Levron, Zina Dombroski, Judy Kennie, V.J. Autin, Maryline Valenti, and Sharon Lowrimore.

Daisy was preceded in death by her husband Louis Dupuy Sr., son Huey Anthony Dupuy, daughter Donna Dupuy Hodges, son-in-law Mitch Hodges, great- granddaughter Justice Lovell, her parents Viltress Autin, Della Miller and Edmond and Edna Grow.  She is also preceded in death by her siblings Zola Galland, Johnny Cuvillier, Calvin Cuvillier, Agnes Hebert, Clara Morgan, Hilda Kost, Edith Juneau, and Ora Mae Derouen.

Serving as pallbearers will be A.J. Hebert III, Dawson Hebert, Anthony Arredondo, Kaleb Ardoin, Jacob Ardoin, Bryant Bordelon, Chevy Romero, Brandon Moore, and Taylor Martin.
