Lafayette – Funeral Service for Mr. Conrad L. “Pete” Juneau, Jr., 78, will be held at 2:30PM on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at David Funeral Home Chapel of Lafayette with Reverend James Brady, Pastor of St. Pious X Catholic Church officiating the Service. Interment will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Thursday, December 16, 2021 from 10:30AM until the time of the services.
A native of Alexandria and a resident of Lafayette, Mr. Pete died at 9:01PM on Monday, December 13, 2021 at The Heart Hospital of Lafayette. He retired from the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries after over 33 years of service where he was a Marine Biologist. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and was known for his love to hunt, fish, and read books. Mr. Pete loved his family and was an avid outdoorsmen.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sue Clark Juneau of Lafayette; a son, Chris Juneau and his wife Katherine of Milton; a daughter, Jennifer Manuel and her husband Wally of Youngsville; a brother, Patrick Juneau and his wife Suzanne; three grandchildren, Katherine Manuel, Matthew Netterville, and Justin Netterville; and one great grandchild, Liam Netterville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Conrad L. Juneau, Sr. and Katherine Bordelon Juneau.
Serving as pallbearers will be Chris Juneau, Wally Manuel, Matthew Netterville, Patrick Juneau, Doug Naquin and Andre’ Juneau.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Justin Netterville, Claude Boudreaux and Mike McAlvanah.
David Funeral Home of Lafayette at 316 Youngsville Hwy (337)837-9887 will be handling the arrangements.
