Lafayette - A celebration of life honoring Conception “Cathy” Sidari French, 90, will be held Wednesday
March 18, 2020 at 11:00 AM in David Funeral Home, with Deacon Keith Duhon of St. Joseph Catholic
Church in Milton officiating.
Conception “Cathy” Sidari French, born April 21, 1929 in Marseilles France passed away March 16, 2020
in Broussard Louisiana. She loved music and she and her husband Rush performed with their band The
French Connection for many years; she was a loving wife mother, and grandmother, and friend to all.
Cathy leaves behind her son Steve and his wife Melody Ercoli; grandchildren Katina Ercoli Cormier, and
Gregory and his wife Jennifer Ercoli; great-grandchildren Haden, Kadee, Chad, Caleb, Riley, and William.
She is also survived by nieces Michelle F. Gillis, Deborah F. Jukoski, Sherri Ann Blanton Guinn, Tina
Blanton and Gina Blanton Dye and their families; nephew Kenny Bob French, and his family.
Cathy was preceded by her husband of 53 years Rush “Frenchie Delano French; her parents Carlo Mario
Guiseppe Sidari and Teresa Cerno
