Clyde A. Thibodeaux

New Iberia– A Celebration of Life will be conducted for Clyde A. Thibodeaux, age 74, on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at 12:00 Noon, at David Funeral Home with Pastor Kevin Rowe officiating. A private inurnment will follow at a later date.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. the time of service at 12:00 p.m.

A native and resident of New Iberia, Mr. Thibodeaux passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2023, at his residence in New Iberia.

Clyde is a man who would make himself available to all that was in need. He was the go-to guy to his friends and family. A man who was best friend to his brother and sister, Lonnie, and Melissa, and his two children, Brandi, and Blake. He would help anyone who had a situation.

His favorite pastime was watching old Cowboy Movies, drag racing and doing auto mechanics, and a little cooking.

Clyde is survived by his two children, Brandi T. Mathews, Blake Thibodeaux (Kelli); grandchildren; Joey Matthews, Logan “Cole” Thibodeaux, Dylan Thibodeaux, Jaxson Thibodeaux; siblings, Melissa T. Spooner, and Lonnie Thibodeaux.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold, and Gertrude Landry Thibodeaux.
