Lafayette – A Memorial Service for Mrs. Claire Vallot Manuel, 71, will be held at 10:30AM on Thursday, September 7, 2023 at David Funeral Chapel of Lafayette with Deacon Martin Cannon officiating.
A native and resident of Lafayette, Mrs. Manuel died at 1:40PM on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at Calcutta House. She was known for enjoyment of doing woodwork and calligraphy.
She is survived by her husband of 16 years, Richard C. Manuel; a son, Jeremy Payton; a daughter, Courtney Odell; two brothers, Tony Vallot and Dudley Vallot; a sister, Mary Anne; and two grandchildren, Logan Odell and Caleb Odell.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alley and Ida Patin Vallot.
David Funeral Home of Lafayette at 316 Youngsville Hwy (337)837-9887 will be handling the arrangements.
