Cindy Ann Broussard

Lafayette- Funeral services for Cindy Ann Broussard, 58, will be held at 3:00PM on Friday, February 17, 2023 at David Funeral Home of Lafayette with Deacon Martin Cannon officiating. Interment will follow in St. Anne Cemetery. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Friday, February 17, 2023 from 8:30AM until the time of service with a recitation of the rosary at 1:00PM by Dot Daspit. A native of Fort Carson, Colorado and a resident of Lafayette, Ms. Cindy passed away at 5:17PM on Tuesday, February 14, 2023. Ms. Cindy enjoyed watching tv and spending time with her dog, Courage. She is survived by her mother; Leona Broussard of Youngsville; one nephew; Cody Broussard; three aunts; Sandra Benoit, Dot Daspit, and Brenda Champagne; godfather; Mike Broussard and his wife, Cindy; godmother; Lola Romero and her husband, Andrew; one godchild; Jason Champagne; and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her father; Nathan Lewis Broussard; paternal grandparents; Mitchel and Alta Broussard; maternal grandparents; Augusta and Lillian Champagne; one brother; Toby Augusta Broussard; three uncles; Audrest Champagne, Francis Nick Champagne, and Ray Benoit; and six cousins; David John Daspit Jr., Dylan Daspit, Paul Broussard, Sydni Cambre, Andy Romero Jr., and Mitch Daspit. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Heart of Hospice. Also, her cousin Denise Cambre for caring for Cindy.
