Born with a passion for connecting people, she spent years as a dedicated switchboard operator in the United States Airforce, skillfully patching calls, including those between her husband and his best friends. Charlotte met her husband while serving in the Air Force at March Air Force Base in California, and their love blossomed in the base chapel, where they married and embarked on 57 beautiful years together, exemplifying a partnership built on mutual respect and deep affection.

An avid gardener and painter, Charlotte had an incredible ability to identify plants at a glance, showcasing her profound knowledge of horticulture. Her love for literature was evident as she devoured countless books, always expanding her intellect and sharing her insights with her family. She became famous for her delicious spaghetti, inspired by an Italian grandmother she had befriended during her service. Charlotte ended her long management career at Jeanerette Mills as Personnel Training Instructor, before retiring to live out her Golden Years.
