Charlene Trahan Lange

Abbeville-A Mass of Christian Burial for Ms. Charlene Lange, 67, will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church on Thursday, November 14, 2024 at 1:00PM with Fr. Sensat officiating. Visitation will be held at Frioux-David Funeral Home of Abbeville on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 from 9:00AM until 9:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume on Thursday, November 14, 2024 from 8:00AM until time of services. Ms. Charlene passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2024. She was a lively woman who was dedicated to her job at JMI of Broussard, loved shopping, playing BINGO, and trying her luck at the casino. She enjoyed listening to her swamp-pop and cajun music. Above all, she loved spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by the father of her children, Joseph Lange; her sons, Smitty Lange and his wife Carley of Erath, Travis Lange and his wife Kyra of LeBlanc, Johnathan Lange of Abbeville, and Keith Lange of LeBlanc; her grandchildren, Jacob Lange, Cody Lange, Cyle Lange, Ainsley Lange, Cadn Lange, Connor Lange, and Wyatt Lange; her great grandchildren, Ivy Lange and Aria Lange; and her sisters, Velta Darby, Judy Trahan, Betty Grand, and Elaine Trahan. She is preceded in death by her parents, Dua Trahan, Sr. and Lovenia Roche Trahan; and her siblings, Dua Trahan Jr., Rodney Trahan, and Maerose Dartez. Serving as pallbearers will be Smitty Lange, Travis Lange, Johnathan Lange, Keith Lange, Jacob Lange, and Cody Lange. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Cyle Lange, Caden Lange, and Connor Lange. Frioux-David Funeral Home of Abbeville 2600 Charity St. (337)893-3777 will be handling the arrangements.
