Chad Hickman

Lafayette – Funeral Services for Chad Edward Hickman, 37, will be held at 2:30PM on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at David Funeral Chapel.  Interment will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 from 12:00PM until the time of the services.

A native of Taft, TX, and a resident of Lafayette, Mr. Hickman died at 1:38PM on Friday, October 15, 2021 at Lafayette General Hospital.  Chad had the biggest heart and loved helping others.  He was known for his enjoyment of playing basketball and spending time with his nephews whom he loved dearly.

He is survived by his mother, Kathy Hayden Brown, and her husband Daniel Keith of Lafayette; his father, Ronald Hickman and his wife Mary of Lafayette; two brothers, James N. Hickman and his wife Amy of St. Martinville and Aaron K. Hickman of Lafayette; and two nephews, Reece Hickman and Ryder Hickman.

Serving as pallbearers will be Brian Deshotel, Chris Juneau, Gene Hunt, and Derek Hernandez.
