New Iberia – Graveside Services were held for Carroll Christine Foltz Gromer, 100, on Saturday, October 9, 2021, at 10:30 AM at Memorial Park Cemetery in New Iberia.
A resident of Baton Rouge, Carroll passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2021, at Clarity Hospice in Baton Rouge
Carroll was born in Oklahoma City to Everett and Beryl Foltz. She was a homemaker making her home with her husband Buddie and their sons all over the United States due to her husband’s profession. In 1970, Buddie retired to Toledo Bend spending their time fishing.
Survivors are her two sons, Jack Gromer (Becky) of Baton Rouge and Don Gromer (Judy) of New Iberia. Her granddaughters, Mindy Bernard (Matt) and Lindsay Allain (James “Beau”). Her great grandchildren, Madelyn and Matthew Bernard, Abigail, Addison and Amelia Allain who lovingly called her GG.
Carroll was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Buddie and her brother, Glen Foltz and her beloved dog, Shaggy.
Serving as pallbearers were Don Gromer, Jack Gromer, Matt Bernard and James Allain.
The family would like to thank Holly Court Assisted Living for the special care they gave our mother and Clarity Hospice for the care on her final days.
