Abbeville- Funeral Services for Ms. Brenda G. Harrington will be held at Frioux-David Funeral Home of Abbeville on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at 2:00PM with Deacon Russell Hayes officiating. Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Frioux-David Funeral Home of Abbeville on Saturday, March 15, 2025, from 10:00AM until 2:00PM, the time of services.

A resident of Kaplan, Ms. Brenda, passed away at her home on Wednesday, March 12, 2025. She enjoyed watching science fiction, history and educational programs. She enjoyed collecting crystal, glass, antiques and jewelry. During her youth, she was a DJ and enjoyed playing her music mixes for the masses. Her love for music was never lost. She was also a wonderful cook and enjoyed cooking for her family. She loved spending time with her friends and family. She will be missed by many.

She is survived by her life partner of thirty-five years, Jolene Schexnayder of Kaplan; she is also survived by her children, Michelle Gros and partner Carol Hebert of Kaplan, Michael Gros of Florida, and Kaven Johnson and his wife Meghan of Maurice; Her grandchildren, Bristol Gros and Kamryn Johnson; Her great-granddaughter Loryn Gros, and her siblings, Fuzzy Harrington, Roy Harrington, Jr., Robert Harrington, Rudy Harrington, and Gay Harrington.

She is preceded in death by her son, Kip Trahan; her parents, Joseph Roy Harrington and Carrie Lege Cuvillier; and her siblings, Nolan Harrington, Wilson Harrington, Dale Harrington, Lance Harrington, Cindy Harrington, and Anita Harrington.

Serving and pallbearers will be Kaven Johnson, Adam Richard, Andrew Richard, Nick Sonnier, Cassidy Falcon, and Troy Harrington.
