Brandon Paul Derouen

Erath – Funeral Services for Mr. Brandon Paul Derouen will be held at 2:00PM on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at David Funeral Chapel of Erath with Deacon Tim Marcantel officiating.  Interment will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2023 beginning at 10:00AM until the time of the services with a recitation of the rosary at 11:30AM.

A native of New Iberia and a residence Erath, Mr. Derouen died at 3:40AM on Sunday, April 9, 2023 at his residence.  Brandon enjoyed life and was known for living life to it’s fullest.

He is survived by his son, Jared Paul Derouen of Erath, his parents, Owen and Margaret Shigley Derouen of Erath; a brother, Keith Derouen of Abbeville; and the mother of his son, Heather Gavin.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Mark Owen Derouen; his paternal grandparents, Horace and Bella Bourg Derouen; and his maternal grandparents, Weldon and Marcella Shigley.

Serving as pallbearers will be members of his family and friends.
