A native and lifelong resident of New Iberia, Mr. Bill passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Iberia Medical Center. Mr. Bill was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, collecting hunting rifles, going to the casino with his wife and travelling. “Crip” as he was affectionately known, had a huge heart. He was generous and always willing to lend a helping hand. Always the jokester, he constantly left a smile on your face. He was a great husband, amazing father, and the best grandfather a child could have, and he will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his son, William “Kojack” Broussard and wife, Lisa, of New Iberia; daughter, Wendy “Nunu” B. Pullin and husband, James S. II; grandchildren, Ryan Theriot, Tori Lyn Broussard, and Jenson Pullin; companion, Charlotte Ussery; siblings, Linda Yoder, Dorothy Landry, Emilda Kennedy, and Edmond Broussard and wife Margie all of New Iberia.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Susan Segura Broussard; parents, Jackson and Olampe Romero Broussard; and siblings, John Broussard, Joseph Broussard, Jack Broussard, and E. J. Broussard.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
The family would like to thank Bill’s caregiver and companion, Charlotte Ussery, for the quality of life she provided after the passing of his wife, Susan.
