Beverly Jane Romero

Lafayette – A Mass of Christian burial for Mrs. Beverly Jane Romero, 85, will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at David Funeral Home with Deacon Cody Miller Officiating. Interment will follow at St. Anne Mausoleum.

Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Wednesday July 26, 2023 from 4:00PM until 10:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM and will resume on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at 8:00AM until the time of service.

A native and resident of Youngsville, Mrs. Beverly passed away Sunday, July 23, 2023. She was known for living a homestead lifestyle. She grew a lot of her own food and raised cattle and other farm animals. She loved to garden and especially loved her flowers.

She is survived by three sons, Bryan Romero and his wife Cynthia of Youngsville, Ricky Romero and his wife Sally of Abbeville and John Willis Romero and his wife Anna of Youngsville; a daughter, Amanda Baker; seven grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Willis Romero; her parents, Odressie Romero and Agatha Fabre; and a grandson, Chase Michael Romero.

Serving as pallbearers will be Coty Romero, Shawn Romero, Jared Romero, Donavon Romero, Zayden Romero and Chris Moreaux.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Lucas Romero, Joshua Romero, Benjamin Romero, Brennan Romero and Braxton Romero.
