Barry K. Tynes

Broussard - A Gathering of Remembrance for Mr. Barry K. Tynes, 68 will be held on Monday, March 22, 2021 from 4:00PM until 6:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 5:00PM. Interment will be held at a later date.

A native of Shreveport and a resident of Broussard, Mr. Tynes died at 5:12 AM on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center. He was know for his enjoyment of riding motorcycles and playing pool.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Renee Tynes of Broussard; two sons, Josh Tynes of Abbeville and Shaun Tynes of Broussard; a daughter, Heather Tynes of Broussard; a brother, Thomas Tynes; a grandchild, Cypress Tynes; a brother-in-law, Paul VanderWal; his mother-in-law, Yvonne VanderWal; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lambert and Frances Ware Tynes.
