Ashley Wayne Joseph Frederick

Abbeville- A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Ashley Wayne Joseph Frederick, 66, will be held at St. Theresa Catholic Church on Monday, July 3, 2023 at 11:00AM with Fr. Daniel Picard officiating. Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Abbeville on Sunday, July 2, 2023 from 9:00AM until 9:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume on Monday, July 3, 2023 from 8:00AM until time of services.

A resident of Erath, Mr. Ashley passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2023. For over twenty years he worked at Royal Services and Rentals in the sales department. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cutting grass, carpentry, working with his hands, and being an all-around outdoorsman. Above all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Diane Frederick of Meaux; his daughters, Holly Richard and her husband Jaimey of Nunez, McCall Baudoin of Kaplan, Olivia Frederick of Meaux, and Karissa Garner and her husband Marcus of Nunez; his grandchildren, Jayden Baudoin, Trandon Baudoin, Addison Baudoin, Tanner Garner, Ezra Lewis, and Harper Garner; his mother, Rachel Frederick of Erath; his brothers, Dwain Frederick, and Keith Frederick; his sisters, Rowena Norwood, Yvette Frederick, and Rebecca Frederick; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Angerlas Frederick; and his brother, Horace Frederick.

Serving and pallbearers will be Dwain Frederick, Keith Frederick, Marcus Garner, Jaimey Richard, Ryan Cormier, and Garrett Frederick.

Serving and honorary pallbearers will be Trandon Baudoin, Tanner Garner, and Ezra Lewis.
