Arthur Michael Caron, Jr.

Lafayette- Memorial Services for Mr. Arthur Michael Caron Jr. will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Monday, January 17, 2022 at 2PM with Associate Pastor Anthony Brown officiating. Burial will follow at LeBlanc Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Sunday, January 16, 2022 from 2PM until 7PM. Visitation will resume on Monday at 9AM until time of services.

A resident of Breaux Bridge, Mr. Arthur passed away on Thursday, January 13, 2022. He was an avid New Orleans Saints Football fan, enjoyed track a field and was an official for LSU for 30 years. Above all, he loved his family and going on vacation with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Darlene Caron of Breaux Bridge, his son, Coby Michael Caron and his wife Lisa of Lake Arthur; his daughters, Jolynn Caron Fitch of Youngsville, and Casie Estelle Caron and her wife Trina of Youngsville; his brother, Dennis Marvin Caron and his wife Joanna of Florida; his sisters, Gail Ann Campbelle of California, Leslie Francis Lopez and her husband Ronnie of New Orleans, Mary Catherine Higdon  of Florida, Christine Elizabeth Juarez and her husband Edwardo of Florida, and Kimberly Patricia Hirsius and her husband Brian of New Orleans; his grandchildren, Emily Claire Fitch Trahan and her husband Dylan, Isabelle Jolie’ Caron, Grace Nicole Fitch, Madilyn Estelle Caron, Harper Ann Caron, and Jean Pierre Breaux; his great grandchild, Callahan Fitch Trahan AKA Smiley; and his numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his father, Arthur Michael Caron Sr.; his mother, Estelle Rita Caron; and his stepmother, Mary Ann Caron.

The Caron family would like to send special thanks to Dr. Thomas Callais and the staff members of the Emergency Room and 5 ^th Floor of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.
