Annamay Helen Lucia

New Iberia– Memorial Services will be conducted for Annamay Helen Lucia, 91, on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at 10:00AM at David Funeral Home Chapel of New Iberia with Father Garrett Savoie officiating. Inurnment will follow at a later date. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 from 9:00AM until the time of services. A native of New Orleans, LA and resident of New Iberia, Ms. Lucia passed away on Friday, August 25, 2023, at 7:15PM at her residence. Ms. Lucia was a reader at Our Lady of Perpetual Help. She loved her cats very much. She was a teacher at Catholic High School for many years. Ms. Lucia enjoyed traveling. She is survived by one brother, Michael Lucia of New Iberia; two sisters, Melissa Lucia, of Interlachen, FL and Elizabeth Lucia of Raceland, LA; a niece, Lauren Rehorst, personal friend, Deanna Charpentier, and many more friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Michael and Eula Gardabled Lucia. The family would like to thank Father Anson and Father Garrett Savoie. The family would also like to thank Audubon Hospice.
