Lafayette- Graveside services for Mrs. Anna Martin, 97, will be held at St. Mary Nativity Cemetery in Raceland, LA on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at 10:00AM with Reverend Clyde Mahler officiating.

Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Monday, September 11, 2023 from 2:30PM until 8:00PM.

A resident of Youngsville, Mrs. Anna passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2023. She was the matriarch of the family. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, baking, and over feeding her family and guests. Above all, she loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her son, Ted Martin of Broussard; her grandchildren, April Decuir, Taylor Martin, and Brittney Angelle; and her great grandchildren, Ruby Angelle, and Cearrahra Decuir.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, HC Martin; her parents, Lovency Folse and Melodia Blanchard Folse; her sons, Richard Martin, and Keith Martin; her daughter, Gail Jobe; her brother, Almus “LuLu” Folse; and her sister, Rena Caro.
