Anna Mae David Hebert

Youngsville – Funeral Services for Anna Mae David Hebert, 101, will be held at 12:00PM on Friday, May 03, 2024 at St. Anne Catholic Church in Youngsville with Fr. David Hebert officiating. A recitation of the rosary will begin at 11:30. Inurnment will follow at St. Anne Catholic Mausoleum.

A Celebration of her life will follow at her home for family and friends.

Anna Mae was a strong independent woman and an inspiration to all who knew her. In her younger years, she worked tirelessly with her husband running a dairy farm and later raising beef cattle. She loved being outdoors working in her vegetable garden but mostly caring for her beautiful collection of day lilies, amaryllis, and roses.

She cherished her family and friends and never met a stranger. She was a family historian who loved sharing memories and facts about people and the property she lived and raised a family on.

She is survived by two daughters, Charlotte Hebert Wolf and Barbara H. Bernard; a son, Donald A. Hebert and his wife Doris; seven grandchildren, Michelle Hebert, Roxane Perrio, Kim Bernard, Norman “Kirk” Bernard, Christine Wolf Hatcher, Jennifer A. Wolf and Josette Brooks; numerous great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Theard M. Hebert; her parents, Clement and Ada Langlinais David; two sisters, Mary “Sis” David Shields and Marie “Nellie” David Gary; two brothers, Willis Joseph David and Adrian “Junior” David; and a son-in-law, Norman Bernard.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her memory to St. Anne church in Youngsville for the new church construction fund or to the charity of their choice.
