Lafayette ~ Funeral Services for Ms. Angeline Decoux, 66, will be at 1:00PM, on Monday, March 17, 2025, at Frioux-David Funeral Home of Lafayette.

Visitation will open at 9:00AM, on Monday, March 17, 2025, at Frioux-David Funeral Home of Lafayette and continue until the time of service. A Recitation of the Rosary will be held at 11:00AM.

A native of New Iberia and a resident of Lafayette, Ms. Angeline Decoux passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at 1:10 AM. A devoted mother with an innocent yet sassy personality, Angeline lived her life in service to others. She faced many obstacles but remained resilient to her core. Her heart overflowed with unconditional love for everyone she met, always seeing the best in them. In fact, if you needed money, all you had to do was call her and she would Uber to the nearest Western Union to send a wire transfer. Just as she was devoted to her children, she was equally devoted to her coffee and toast, which she had to have every morning. Angeline loved shopping and was somewhat of a diva. She also enjoyed playing card games and gambling at the casino.

Ms. Angeline Decoux is survived by two daughters, Shanetel Breaux (Crystal Gautreaux) of Lafayette and Monica Flores (Miguel) of Duson; one son, Lloyd Breaux, II of New Iberia; four grandchildren, Kyle Hayes of Lafayette, Christian Flores of Duson, Alicia Leal of Lafayette, and Christopher Leal of Lafayette; one great-grandchild, Christian Flores, Jr. of Duson; three brothers, Kimmy Decoux (Barbara) of New Iberia, Timothy Decoux of New Iberia, and Tommy Decoux of New Iberia; three sisters, Jeanette Decoux of New Iberia, Barbara Tucker of New Iberia, and Sheila Decoux of New Iberia, and one Godson, David Touchet.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Dennis Decoux and Esther Romero Boatwright; and three brothers, Danny Decoux, Ernest Decoux, and Renee Decoux.
