Lafayette - A graveside service at Lafayette Memorial Park will be held Thursday, February 15, 2024, at 11:00 a.m.

Aaron Kyle Hickman, passed away at the age of 41, Tuesday, February 6, 2024, in Lafayette, LA.

Aaron was born March 18, 1982, in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was the middle sibling of three brothers. Aaron moved with his family from Texas to Louisiana as a young child.

He is survived by his sons Reece Hickman and Ryder Hickman of Katy, TX; mother Kathy Brown and stepfather, DK of Lafayette; father, Ronnie Hickman and stepmother, Mary of Lafayette: brother James Hickman and sister-in-law Amy of Breaux Bridge, in addition to beloved aunts, uncles, and numerous cousins.

Aaron was preceded in death by his younger brother, Chad Hickman, paternal grandparents Wilford and Joy Hickman, and maternal grandparents James and Arlene Hayden.

Aaron was a doting father. He was so proud of the young men his sons had become.  When Aaron spoke of them, he would light up the room. His wish was that they would always know how much he loved them.

Aaron had a larger-than-life, charismatic personality.  His sense of humor and outgoing demeanor was loved by all that knew him. His fun loving, boisterous presence will be missed by all.
