Jeanne Blanchard O'Flerity

New Iberia " Funeral services will be conducted for Jeanne Blanchard OFlerity, 93, on Monday, January 19, 2009 at 3:00 PM in the David Funeral Home Chapel with Father Richard Fabre officiating. Interment will follow in St. Peters Cemetery.

Visitation will begin on Monday, January 19, 2009 at 10:00 AM until services. A rosary will be prayed in the funeral home on Monday at 11:30 AM.

A native of Iberia Parish and a resident of New Iberia, Mrs. OFlerity died on Friday, January 16, 2009 at 4:05 PM in a New Iberia hospital. She loved costume jewelry, playing bingo, visiting and exchanging stories.

She is survived by four grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Sidonie Blanchard; her daughter, Janet M. Kline; her sisters, Rose B. Broussard, Martha B. Domingue, Lucy B. Savoie, Margaret B. Peltier and Ruby B. Hebert and her brothers, Louis, Otto and Laurent Blanchard.

Pallbearers will be her nephews.
