Erath - A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Alton Adam Landry, the former Leta Dubois, 84, will be held at 12:00PM on Friday, February 9, 2007 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Fr. Wayne Duet officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Erath on Thursday, February 8, 2007 from 10:00AM until 10:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume on Friday, February 9, 2007 from 8:00AM until the time of the services. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Mausoleum.
Mrs. Landry a native of Prairie Gregg and a resident of Abbeville died Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at 10:52AM at Abbeville General Hospital.
She is survived by one son, Alton Paul Landry and his wife Naomi Landry of Erath; one daughter, Virginia Norman and her husband Cecil Norman of Erath; four grandchildren, Lisa Marie Bobo of Maurice, Natasha LeBlanc of Erath, Gina Vaughan of Erath, and Paul A. Landry of Leleux; a sister, Edith D. Landry of Erath; and seven great grandchildren, Lauren LeBlanc, Luke LeBlanc, Alyssa LeBlanc, Brett Vaughan, Melissa Bobo, Megan Lattero, and Adam James Landry; a step granddaughter, Rebecca Douret; and a Step great granddaughter, Megan Ashley Bourque.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Alton Adam Landry; her parents, German and Eleda Peltier Dubois; a son, Ellery Lee Landry; a brother, Curfey Dubois, a Daughter in law, Faye Landry, and a great grandson, Matthew Primeaux.
Pallbearers will be Alton P. Landry, Cecil Norman, Paul A. Landry, Shane LeBlanc, Brett Vaughan, and Adam J. Landry.
