Rev. James George Randall

Rev. Randall a native of Arcata, CA and a resident of Abbeville passed from this life on Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at 8:31PM at Abbeville General Hospital. Rev. Randall was a loving and great husband, father, grandfather and pastor who was also known as an avid hunter. He was a very caring man who was a friend to all that he met, and was greatly respected amongst his fellow ministers. He has been the Assistant Superintendent of the Louisiana District of the ALJC for the past 12 years. He learned the craft of carpentry from his father and became a skilled craftsman which was reflected in his life and ministry. He died with the dignity of a soldier.

He is survived by his loving and faithful wife, Deborah Sutherland Randall of Abbeville; his parents, Jay Kay Randall and Frances Ellis Randall of Aimwell, LA; a son, Jarod Randall and his wife Melissa Randall of Abbeville; two daughters, Letitia Melton and her husband Eric Melton of Summit, MS, and Melita Randall of Abbeville; four brothers, Gayle Randall of Crowley, Brent Randall of Jackson, MS, Anthony Randall of Abbeville, and Clint Randall of Whitehall; and six grandchildren, Landon Melton and Erica Melton of Summit, MS, Miquel, Morgan, Mariah, and Mia Randall of Abbeville.

Pallbearers will be Rev. Charles Durham, Rev. Justin Leyve, Rev. Joseph Baudion, Rev. Marcus Breaux, Rev. Joshua Jesensky, Rev. James Guy, Rev. Jake Guidry, and Rev. Carl Delcambre.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Gayle Randall, Brent Randall, Anthony Randall, and Clint Randall.
