Lafayette " Funeral Services for Peggy Boudreaux Burks, 47, will be held at 3:00PM on Thursday, May 28, 2009 at David Funeral Home of Lafayette with Rev. Mark Gaudin officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 11:00AM until time of services. Burial will take place in St. Anne Cemetery in Youngsville. A native and resident of Lafayette, Peggy passed away at 7:28PM on Saturday, May 23, 2009 at a Lafayette hospital. She enjoyed playing Pokeno and Bingo. She is survived by her husband, Haskell Burks of Lafayette; her brothers, John J.C. Boudreaux and wife Mary of St. Martinville and Alvin Boudreaux and wife Debbie of Youngsville; her sisters, Dianna Toups and husband Michael of Youngsville and Barbara Boudreaux Bernard of Lafayette; as well as twelve nieces and eight nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard Boudreaux, Sr. and Hilda Roy Boudreaux; her brother, Leonard Boudreaux, Jr.; and her sisters, Rose Boudreaux Brasseaux and Geraldine Porrier. Serving as pallbearers will be John T-Boy Boudreaux, Jr., Toby Boudreaux, Jeremy Boudreaux, Leonard Buddy Boudreaux, Jacob Boudreaux and Tim Touchet. Honorary pallbearers will be Robbie Brasseaux and Kenneth Touchet. David Funeral Home of Lafayette, 316 Youngsville Hwy., (337) 837-9887, is in charge of the arrangements.
